Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) we only use non-essential cookies with your consent.
What we use
| Name / provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| mcr-cookie-consent (this site, local storage) | Necessary | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months |
| TrustIndex review slider (cdn.trustindex.io) | Third-party feature | Shows genuine customer reviews on our pages. We checked it in a clean browser: it set no cookies and stored nothing on the device. | None set by us |
| Cloudflare Turnstile (challenges.cloudflare.com) | Necessary (security) | Checks our online enquiry form is filled in by a person rather than a robot. Loads only with that form. | Set by Cloudflare when the check runs |
The Greater Manchester coverage map on our Areas, area and Contact pages is a picture we host on this website, so no map provider is contacted and it sets no cookies. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to font providers. If we add analytics later, it will stay off until you agree.
Third-party links
Links to WhatsApp, Checkatrade, Trustpilot, TrustIndex and Google Maps reviews take you to their own sites, which have their own cookie policies. Nothing from those sites loads until you click one.
Managing cookies
Use the button above or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Questions: admin@mcrremovals.co.uk.
