Professional House Removals Staff Our staff are punctual, honest and polite who are suitablly trained and experienced.  

On each move there will be a trained team foreman who supervises the packing, collection and delivery of your household effects. 

The foreman is responsibe to ensure the move is carried out safely.  

During the move there will always be a member of staff in the office to be at hand to resolve any issues that may arise.

The standards for ‘Furniture Removal activities’ are designed to protect our customers at every stage of their move, from packing and removals to dealing with disputes. We have standards in place to ensure you receive a quality service.

We have been looking after our home-movers in Manchester and surrounding areas for over 16 years and have a very low insurance claim and issues rate – this is down to the standards we have in place.

– Our Staff are trained, experienced who are punctual, courteous and honest.

– We provide written quotations via email, which specify the service to be provided and cost, including our Terms and Conditions.

– We have suitable vehicles, packaging materials and equipment.

– We have purpose-made furniture covers and blankets to protect your items during transit.

– Prior to leaving you will have the opportunity to check your furniture and effects to ensure in condition prior to handling.

– We provide assistance with procedures in the event of loss or damage.

Before Your House Move

It is important to prepare efficiently for your move, we will:

– Provide you with clear details about the services we are providing.

– Conduct a video home-survey to assess the volume of your move, what is required to move you and to assess the access to your property.

– Provide a witten quotation detailing the service, the cost, the declared value of goods and our Terms and conditions.

– Issue a Quotation Move and Acceptance – which will form the move contract once you have e-signed and returned.

– A VAT invoice will be issued, along with receipts for all payments.

– For insurance purposes, a list of valued items is required to be completed listing all items over £500 which are being professionally packed, or to olarge to fit in to a ‘packed by owner’ box

 

During Your Move

The removal team will:

– Be polite, friendly and professional in the conduct.

– Follow the agreed move plan, as agreed in advance of your move and provide services as set out in the contract

-Ensure the vehicle is clean and tidy

– Provide purpose-made furniture covers, blankets and straps to protect your items

– use quality packing materials to ensure all items packed are adequately protected to minimise the risk of damage during transit.

– Upon completion of the move, walk around the new home inspecting all furniture and items moved to identify any damage (if any incurred).

Once Your Move Has Been Completed

Provide a move completion sheet which is required to be signed to confirm packing, loading and delivery has been completed to your satisfaction.

– All furniture, non-boxed items must be inspected whilst the crew are on site.

– All boxes whether packed by us or the customer, must be inspected for any external damage to the box – if any found the

– Televisions are required to be checked prior to the team leaving.  It is the customers responsibility to power the television on. Should this action not be completed in our prescence then our liability is reduced in accordance with our insurance terms.

– Where we have provided our packing service, then you have 7 days to notify us of any damage or in the event you have not been able to unpack then request an extension for a maximum of a further 14 days.

– Any issues during the move will be resolved in an efficient manner and in acordance with our complaints policy (to resolve all complaints within 28 days)

– Assist in any claims that may arise, or where damage is below our claims excess then we will put right any damage caused (either replacement, or repair – which ever is the lesser amount).

– A feedback form will be issued allowing for comments on the service provided – we use TrustPilot and Google reviews which are the most common and trusted review sites available.
